Brazil Vs. Mexico, International Friendly: El Tri Wins 2-0

Mexico captured a 2-0 win over Brazil in an international friendly match at Cowboys Stadium in Dallas. Mexico grabbed a 2-0 lead in the first half on goals by Javier Hernandez and Giovani Dos Santos.

Mexico successfully sat on the lead in the second half after making the most of the possessions in the first half. Goalie Jose de Jesus Corona was up to the task making five saves on goal. Brazil finished with 16 shots but only five fell on goal. Mexico attempted just six shots but were much more effective with five shots on goal. Brazil held possession of the ball for over 67 percent of the match yet Mexico made the most of their opportunities.

The win is the second straight for Mexico after defeating Bosnia-Herzegovina 1-0 earlier.
