TCU stays alive in the College Station regional of the 2012 College World Series with a 10-2 win over Texas A&M Sunday afternoon. The Horned Frogs advance to take on Ole Miss at 6:30 p.m. Sunday night.
TCU got a solid performance on the mound from starting pitcher Stefan Crichton who allowed six hits and and two runs in a nine inning complete game. Kevin Cron and and Derek Odell combined to go 4 for 10 with four runs, two homers and three RBIs. TCU blew the game wide open with three runs in the fourth and fifth innings.
Daniel Mengden takes the loss after allowing four hits and six runs in just two innings of work. Scott Arthur went 2-for-3 for the Aggies while Tyler Naquin drove in two runs.
TCU lost their opening game of the regional to Ole Miss 6-2. If the Horned Frogs need to defeat the Rebels twice, once on Saturday and again on Monday to advance.
