Deron Williams, like millions of other middle-aged American males, plays golf while on vacation. The difference is when he posts about it on Twitter, he gets (as of last count) almost 900 retweets:

The two PG's have been friends since they were teammates on the 2008 Olympic Team and Kidd has long stated he'd prefer to back up a player like Williams next season.
↵Now, does the fact that Williams is golfing with a Maverick mean anything? Or that they were playing up in the Hamptons? Probably not. However, it is a glimpse into the media circus that has surrounded Williams for most of the last year in the run-up to his free agency.
↵It's good that he can have fun with the spotlight, because once the draft is over, Williams will be the main topic of conversation around the NBA.
