2012 U.S. Open: Hunter Mahan Shoots 4-Over On Sunday, 10-Over For Tournament

At one point in at the 2012 U.S. Open Hunter Mahan was in the top-10 overall, but after multiple rounds shooting over par Mahan keep falling down the leaderboard as he ended up shooting 10-over par for the tournament. The Olympic Club course was not kind to any golfers since whoever will win this tournament will likely have a final score around par.

Mahan did manage a pair of birdies on his first and eighth holes, and had a stretch of bogie-free golf for seven straight holes on Saturday which was his best stretch of the tournament However, Mahan's final round was his worst of the tournament as he shot a 4-over, 74 which included four bogies and a double-bogie on the sixth hole.

That sixth hole gave Mahan problems all weekend as he never shot better than bogie and even had a triple-bogie during Friday's second round.
