2012 U.S. Open: Jim Furyk Is Current Leader

The Olympic Club has been terribly difficult for all the golfers in Saturday's third round at the 2012 U.S. Open. Most of the players are battling to just be at par for their round. The current leader is Jim Furyk who fared just as most golfers have for the day.

Furyk got off to a bad start by being at 2-over par through the first six holes, but he proceeded to regroup and hit a pair of birdies on the seventh and 11th hole to be at even par through 13 holes. Furyk is currently 1-under par for the tournament and is ahead of Graeme McDowell is currently in second place at even par.

Coming into Saturday's round Furyk was tied with Tiger Woods and David Toms, but both have fallen back with Woods at 3-over par and Toms shooting a 6-over par so far through the third round.
