2012 NCAA Baseball Super Regionals, Baylor Vs. Arkansas: Win Advances Bears To Omaha

Baylor looks to punch its ticket to Omaha with a win over Arkansas on Sunday. The Bears took Game 1 by a score of 8-1 on Saturday behind a strong performance on the mound from Trent Blank who captured his 11th win of the season. Blank allowed just one run and seven hits over eight innings of work on Saturday.

Logan Vick homered twice and drove in three runs in the victory. Max Muncy and Cal Towey had three hits each for Baylor. Crayton Bare relieved Blank in the ninth and worked a perfect inning to close out the victory.

Should Arkansas win on Saturday it will force a winner-take-all Game 3 on Monday with the winner advancing to Omaha.
