2012 NCAA Baseball Tournament, TCU Vs. Ole Miss Score Update: Rebels Take 6-2 Lead With 4-Run 8th

TCU jumped out early in its NCAA Tournament opener against Ole Miss, but the Rebels answered and have taken a sizable lead late in the game. Ole Miss leads 6-2 after a four-run eighth inning.

The Rebels loaded the bases with one out after a walk, single and hit by pitch. Freshman outfielder Auston Bousfield drew a full-count walk to score a run and take the lead. Freshman DH Sikes Orvis followed up with a single up the middle on a 1-2 count to score two more runs and break the game open a bit. The Rebels added one more run in the inning.

TCU scored once in the first and fourth innings to take an early 2-0 lead, but the Rebels answered with two in the sixth to tie the game. The Horned Frogs will need a major comeback in the ninth if they hope to win their opener.
