TCU may have jumped out early against Ole Miss in the opening matchup of the College Station Regional, but the Rebels have come back to tie the game at two runs apiece after a two-run sixth inning.
The Horned Frogs scored runs in the first and fourth innings to take a 2-0 advantage against Ole Miss. Meanwhile, the Rebels struggled to string enough timely hits together to combat TCU.
That changed in the sixth inning, when Rebels right fielder Tanner Mathis led off with a single up the middle. His teammate Alex Yarbrough followed that up with an RBI triple to get the Rebels on the scoreboard.
Yarbrough score on Matt Snyder's groundout, and that tied the game up at two. The Horned Frogs have received good work from freshman pitcher Preston Morrison, who just recorded his second walk of the game here in the seventh inning, but he's only given up five hits on the day.
