No. 4 ranked Baylor (44-14) will begin a heavily-favored march to the Super Regionals and College World Series in Omaha when they start play in their host Regional Friday afternoon against Oral Roberts (37-23). With the No. 4 overall seed, the Bears would host next weekend's Super Regional series against the winner of the Houston Regional (hosted by Rice) if they win the Regional this weekend.
But first the Bears will get Oral Roberts, a team they hold a 19-13 all-time record against when playing in Waco. Baylor has won five straight against ORU, including a 2012 season-opening sweep of the Golden Eagles this season.
