College Baseball Rankings: Baylor Stands Pat At No. 2

The Baylor Bears continue to hold steady in the number two spot in NCAA baseball top 25 rankings, as compiled by Baseball America.

The Bears were idle over the past week, keeping their record at 38-8 and placing them behind only Florida State in the national rankings.

Baylor, who has already clinched the outright Big 12 regular season conference title, will next play on Wednesday against Texas State.

And while the Bears are firmly entrenched in the rankings, the Texas Longhorns find themselves on the outside looking in. They were dropped from the rankings, which opened the door for another Dallas-area team, TCU, to claim a spot in the top 25.

The Horned Frogs, who posted a 3-1 mark over the past week of play, have jumped into the 24th spot in the rankings. Next up for TCU is a four-game road swing, which begins with a three-game set at Air Force on Friday.
