ANIMATED: David Murphy's Inside The Park Home Run

The Texas Rangers David Murphy hit the rare inside the park home run against the Houston Astros on Saturday night. The play was much needed as it scored three runs and the Rangers are currently in a close battle against the Astros.

The play was a shot to center field but the right fielder dove for the ball and the center fielder tripped over the fallen player, and that left no one in the outfield to pick up the ball for a few seconds.

Once the ball was recovered and thrown to home plate, Astros catcher Chris Snyder was unable to make a tag attempt on Murphy.
