2012 Preakness: I'll Have Another Comes From Behind To Win

The 137th running of the Preakness Stakes was an epic race that saw Kentucky Derby winner I'll Have Another came from behind on the final stretch to defeat favorite Bodemeister by a neck. Bodemeister was a 2-1 favorite to win the Preakness and started out to the lead right out of the gate.

The early leaders were Bodemeister then followed by Pretension, Creative Cause and I'll Have Another being four lengths behind. The leaders established a pack, breaking from four horses who fell a bit off the pace.

One the final stretch it was Bodemeister in the lead, followed by I'll Have Another who was mounting a furious comeback over the final 100 yards. I'll Have Another broke hard and somehow pulled off the victory, and now has a shot at horse racings triple crown.

The final leg of the triple crown takes place at the Belmont Stakes is the final leg of the triple crown and takes place in three weeks at Belmont Park in Elmont, N.Y.
