The Players Championship 2012 Leaderboard: Tiger Woods Finishes At -1

Tiger Woods had a final round score of 71 with helped him finish at 1-under par overall in the 2012 Players Championship at the TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. Woods finished tied for 39th on the leaderboard as a rough start in the front nine as three bogeys and a triple bogey pushed the superstar further back.

Players that did finished strong in the final round include:

  • David Toms - Toms was even through three rounds in the tournament but a 7-under final round now has him tied for 5th on the leaderboard.
  • Spencer Levin - Levin is 5-under through 17 holes in his final round and is now 7-under overall.
  • Bob Estes - Estes also shot 7-under for the final round and finished at 5-under and tied for 14th.

Leaders Matt Kuchar and Kevin Na teed off at approximately an hour ago and are hopeful to try and close the show. Kuchar lost a stroke and Rickie Folwer has gained two, while Kevin Na's birdie on two has given him a two stroke lead through three holes of play. The action's heating up, and it looks like we'll have a three-man race to the finish.
