Beginning at 1 p.m. CDT Saturday afternoon, the Texas Longhorns play the Texas Southern Tigers (23-24) in a doubleheader at UFCU Disch-Falk Field. The two games will allow the 'Horns to get some work in during their finals break, before heading to No. 2 Baylor next Friday to begin the final Big 12 series of the season for both teams.

After dropping two of three to Missouri last weekend, Saturday's games against Texas Southern are must-wins for the Longhorns when it comes to tournament seeding. Closer Corey Knebel (3-3, 1.46) will make his first career start for Texas in the first game: Knebel is currently second on the school career saves list. Left-hander Dillon Peters (3-0, 2.91) will start the second game, scheduled to begin 45 minutes after the first game is finished.

Both games will be broadcast on KVET 1300 AM "The Zone," Austin.
