Players Championship 2012 Leaderboard: Hunter Mahan Misses Cut At TPC

Dallas native Hunter Mahan has missed the cut at the 2012 Players Championship after shooting a 4-over par score of 76 in the second round of the tournament. Mahan finished with an overall score of 6-over par, and with the cut line at even par he will be unable to compete in the final two rounds.

Going into the third round it is a crowded leaderboard, with Zach Johnson, Matt Kuchar, and Kevin Na all tied at 8-under par. Tiger Woods made a mad dash late to secure his spot for the weekend, finishing at 2-under par.

Mahan isn't the only notable player who didn't make the cut. The world's No. 1-ranked player Rory Mcllroy, shot a 76 in the second round and was 4-over par for the tournament.

Dallas resident and former Texas Longhorns golfer Harrison Frazar barely made the cut, finishing at even par after his second round score of 76. He is currently is tied for 56th place.
