Lee Westwood, after taking the lead after the first round of action at the Masters in Augusta, Ga on Thursday, has been in and out of the lead through the second round on Friday, but holds a one-shot lead over Jason Dufner, Fred Couples and Sergio Garcia who tie for second with 5-under par scores.
Hunter Mahan is the only Dallas-area player having success so far, sitting in 19th place with a one-under par score for the tournament while shooting one-under through 14 holes on Friday as well.
Harrison Frazar, Ryan Palmer, Scott Verplank all have high scores. Verplank shot plus-three in the second round and is tied for 55th place with a plus-four score. Frazar and Palmer are both plus-six through 11 holes.
Tiger Woods is one-under par through the first five, while Phil Mickelson is at even-par for the tournament, shooting 2-under in the second round through 14.
