CAIRO's Final Update Still Picks Rangers

Last week I gave you the run down of what the CAIRO forecast system thinks of the 2012 Texas Rangers.

Today, Replacement Level Yankees Weblog updated their forecasts a bit, and the result is still very pro-Rangers.

There aren’t a lot of changes here. Texas is given 93 wins, a ceiling of 103, and at 54.2%, they are considered more likely to win the AL West than not. Most notably, their 84% chance of making the playoffs is the highest of any team in baseball.

They include a link to the spreadsheet with all the projected player stats if you’d like to browse it. I have not looked at it too thoroughly yet, I have only noticed that they project Yu Darvish to be slightly better than they did a few months ago; still a top three pitcher in the American League.
