The No. 3 Baylor Bears have an 18-game home winning streak going, and though they get a break from Big 12 play this weekend, the No. 25 New Mexico State Aggies (30-11, 7-3 WAC) don't look to be the sort of team that gets put away easily.
Baylor starts left-hander Josh Turley (6-0, 1.94) at 6:35 p.m. Friday night against the well-named Aggie rightie Trent Blank (9-0, 2.18). The NMSU offense has scored 12 or more runs in 14 games this season, and so should put some pressure on Turley and a Bears offense that leads the Big 12 in average, OBP, slugging, runs and RBIs.
After a 12:05 matchup on Saturday afternoon, Baylor will be off ten days for final exams. Catch the last Bears action for quite some time on 1660 ESPN Radio Waco, or stream the game at Baylor's official athletics website.
