The Dallas Cowboys' secondary got scorched, a lot, last season. Part one of fixing that problem for the Cowboys was bringing in Brandon Carr from the Kansas City Chiefs this offseason on a five-year, $50 million deal.
Dallas continued overhauling its defensive backfield Thursday night, moving up in the 2012 NFL Draft to take CB Morris Claiborne with the 6th overall pick.
Carr had a short and sweet reaction to the pick on Twitter:
Uh ohhhhhhhhh it's on now!!!!!!!!!!

At 5-foot-11, 188, Morris Claiborne will pair with the 6-foot Carr to make one of the most physical cornerback duos in the league.
Claiborne had six picks last year in a 2011 campaign that earned him the Jim Thorpe Award as the nation's best defensive back and All-American honors, while also averaging 25 yards on kick returns.
Carr had four picks and 15 passes deflected last year with the Chiefs.
