2012 Southland Conference Tournament: UT-Arlington Blows Out Nicholls State 96-48

Texas Arlington jumped out to an early lead and cruised home to a 96-48 win over Nicholls State. The Mavericks jumped out to a 42-19 lead at the half and poured it on in the Colonels in the second half.

Bo Ingram scored a game-high 23 points and grabbed eight rebounds. Ingram hit 5-10 shots from beyond-the-arc. LaMarcus Reed added 17 points while Bradley Gay added 15 points off the bench. Cameron Catlett added 12 points and a game-high five steals. The Mavericks hit 52 percent of their shots from the field, 47 percent from beyond-the-arc and an impressive 29-39 free throw attempts in the game.

Jeremy Smith led the Colonels with 17 points and Dantrell Thomas added 15. Texas Arlington held Nicholls State to just 23 percent shooting in the game and were out rebounded by a 46-30 count.
