TCU Vs. San Diego State Final Score: Horned Frogs Force Overtime, Lose 98-92

Even with 25 points from Hank Thorns and 24 from J.R. Cadot the TCU Horned Frogs were not able to knock off their third ranked opponent of the year at home as they fell to the San Diego St. Aztecs 98-92 in overtime. TCU started the game off slow and trailed by 12 points at the half, and it looked like TCU was going to get blown out.

That was not the case as TCU slowly chipped away at San Diego State's lead and finally took their first lead of the second half on a Hank Thorns three-pointer with1:53 left in the game. That three-pointer would be the last points TCU would score in regulation as San Diego State's Tim Shelton made a layup and the following free throw after being fouled to send the game into overtime.

In overtime TCU went on a cold streak and went 1-of-6 from the field with the lone shot being a three-pointer. TCU did make 5-of-7 free throws, but San Diego State's offense was able to make their shots in overtime to hold of TCU. San Diego State was led by Jamaal Franklin who scored a career-high 35 points.
