2012 Women's Basketball Tournament: Baylor Advances To Final Four With 77-58 Win Over Tennessee

The Baylor Bears are one step closer to a perfect season, cruising into the 2012 Women's Final Four with a 77-58 win over Pat Summitt and the Tennessee Lady Vols.

The Bears took a big lead in the first half and were able to keep the Lady Vols at arm's length for the remainder of the game. Baylor led 35-20 at the half before Tennessee began the second half with a 6-0 run. Odyssey Sims hit a three to stop the run and the Bears cruised home for the win.

Sims led all scorers with 27 points on 9-21 shooting. Brittney Griner narrowly missed out on a triple-double finishing with 23 points, 15 rebounds and nine blocks. Kimetria Hayden added 18 points for the Bears.

Glory Johnson led the Lady Vols with 21 points and Shekinna Stricklen added 20 in the loss.
