A perfect season is one of the toughest things to chase in collegiate or professional sports, but the Baylor Lady Bears will be taking another step toward that goal on Saturday, as top-seeded Baylor is set to take on fourth-seeded Georgia Tech in the Sweet 16.
Baylor, through the first two rounds of the tournament, is a remarkable 36-0, and is the heavy favorite to win this year's 2012 Women's NCAA tournament. The Lady Bears are just one of eight teams to play on Saturday -- and they'll know their potential Elite 8 foe before they even take the court on Saturday.
This year's Cinderella story, Kansas, takes on the traditional women's basketball powerhouse Tennessee Lady Vols at 11:04 p.m. CT. Baylor and Georgia Tech will tip-off at 1 p.m. CT, following the Tennessee and Kansas game.
Women's basketball fans will then have to wait a long time before the second set of games on Saturday, as St. John's and Duke aren't set to tip-off until 8:04 p.m. CT. Night owls, though, will be happy to know that Stanford and South Carolina tip off at 10:32 p.m. CT.
