Sterling Moore's Huge Play Negated

SMU’s Sterling Moore has made a habit of making big plays for the Ponies and now the Patriots. He saved the Pats’ hides by stripping a ball late from Anquan Boldin in the AFC Championship game, and with New England down 2-0 and the ball at their ten, Moore stripped the ball from the Giants’ Victor Cruz, forcing a fumble which New England recovered.

Unfortunately, one of Moore’s teammates failed to leave the field. New England was penalized for twelve men on the field, resulting in a first down for the Giants and a touchdown two plays later.

That’s how you lose big games, Patriots.
