2012 Super Bowl Line And Odds: New England Three Point Favorite Over New York

The New England Patriots ar three point favorites over the New York Giants in Sunday's Super Bowl XLVI matchup. The Patriots carry a 10-game winnings steak into the game while the Giants have knocked off two top NFC seeded teams on the road to earn the trip to Indianapolis.

The line originally opened with the Patriots as three and a half point favorites but that has come down slightly as the week has gone along. Interestingly both the Patriots and the Giants are 9-7-1 against the spread this season.

The over-under for the game is set at 55 points. Despite their offensive firepower, the Giants have only been involved in six games where the number has reached 55 this season. New England has had seven games of over 55 points and two more where they were really close to that number.
