The Baylor Bears had the ball in the hands of their clutch point guard Pierre Jackson twice in the final minute of the game but the Bears were unable to get a game-winning basket as the Kansas State Wildcats get a huge road victory over the Bears 57-56/
Perry Jones III fouled out of the game with four minutes remaining in the game as Jones was only able to muster 4 points total for the Bears. However, other Baylor players picked up the slack as Quincy Acy lead all Bears in scoring with 14 points. Brady Heslip put up 13 and Quincy Miller had 12 to keep the Bears in the game.
Unfortunately, the Wildcats forced 19 turnovers against Scott Drew's team as Kansas State's defense bottled up Baylor throughout the game. Rodney McGruder and Angel Rodriguez combined for 30 points and Kansas State gets a win that probably earned them a spot in the NCAA tournament.
Baylor will go on the road to face the Texas Longhorns next on Monday night.
