The Baylor Bears will face a tough UCLA team in the Holiday Bowl on Dec. 27.

The Baylor Bears salvaged the 2012 season with four wins in five games to end the year, finishing with a 41-34 win over No. 23 Oklahoma State and earning a bid to the Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl. The Bears will be facing No. 17 UCLA, with kickoff set for 8:45 p.m. CT on ESPN on Dec. 27.

Baylor possessed one of the more dangerous offenses in the NCAA in 2012, led by senior quarterback Nick Florence to the No. 3 passing offense in the nation. Florence passed for 4,121 yards, 31 touchdowns and 13 interceptions on the season while the Bears averaged more than 220 yards rushing per game. The big trouble for Baylor, however, came on defense as the Bears allowed 38 points a game on their way to a 7-5 season record.

UCLA dropped the final two games of the season, both against Stanford, to finish 9-4 on the year and the runner-up in the Pac-12. The Bruins also possess a dangerous offensive attack, with quarterback Brett Hundley and running back Johnathan Franklin combining for more than 5,400 yards of offense and 48 touchdowns on the season.
