The Rice Owls have decided to bring out a special helmet when they take on the Air Force Falcons in the Armed Forces Bowl. Rice will be wearing an American flag-themed helmet for their first bowl game since 2008.
The American-themed helmet is being worn to show support for America's military personnel, and this helmet is the same one that Rice wore on Sept. 11, 2011.

The helmet is the only piece of uniform that Rice has revealed about the game so far.
Air Force has not announced anything special about their uniforms. However, the Falcons do have a few different uniform combinations that they have worn in the past that are America-themed if they so desire.
The Armed Forces Bowl takes place at Amon Carter Stadium, kicks off at 10:45 a.m. CT, and can be seen on ESPN.
