The Dallas Cowboys are desperately clinging to playoff hope at 8-6 on the season, but the fans didn't give anyone on the roster too much consideration for the Pro Bowl. No Cowboy topped the charts in the NFC for Pro Bowl voting by the fans. In fact, just one player from the NFC East, New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz, garnered the most votes for his position, getting 515,811.
Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning got the most votes from the fans at just short of seven figures, bringing in 993,045 votes. Next closest was Patriots quarterback Tom Brady with 908,099 votes. The top voter getter in the NFC was Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson who grabbed 828,225 votes from the fans.
Fan voting makes up just one-third of the total vote for Pro Bowlers. The players and coaches will make their decisions on who should appear in the annual all-star game today and tomorrow.
