Dallas Cowboys cornerback Morris Claiborne returned to practice in full capacity on Wednesday, while linebacker Ernie Sims sat out with a concussion.
Claiborne was injured in the fourth quarter of the team's win over the Cincinnati Bengals and missed Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers as concussion symptoms persisted throughout the week. The rookie returned to being a full practice participant on Wednesday and has said that he expects to play this week against the New Orleans Saints.
Linebacker Ernie Sims, however, was not on the field as the veteran attempts to recover from a concussion of his own. Sims was injured early in Sunday's win over the Steelers, with the Cowboys turning to Alex Albright to step up in his place in the middle of the defense.
DeMarcus Ware (elbow) and Dez Bryant (broken finger) were both limited in practice but are expected to play on Sunday. DeMarco Murray was once again not at practice on Wednesday, a common occurrence as the running back continues to recover from his foot injury.
