The Dallas Cowboys (3-5) face the Philadelphia Eagles (3-5) on Sunday in a battle between two teams hoping to resurrect a dying and disappointing season.

The Cowboys have lost two straight games against two of the better teams in the NFC, with both losses coming down to crucial plays in the fourth quarter. The Cowboys offense, which typically doesn't come alive until late in games, has shown the ability to move the ball effectively, yet struggles to put points on the board and ranks No. 3 in the NFL in passing offense, but just No. 26 in scoring at 18.8 points per game.

Similar to the Cowboys, the Eagles have struggled with trumped up expectations and a disappointing season. Losing their last four games, the Eagles once again face questions about coaching the direction of the offense with Michael Vick under center. Vick has passed for 2,095 yards, 10 touchdowns and 9 interceptions and possesses a 77.7 quarterback rating on the season.

Both the Eagles (-9) and the Cowboys (-11) rank at the very bottom of the NFC in turnover differential.

The Cowboys take on the Eagles this Sunday in Philadelphia, with kickoff set for 3:25 p.m. CT, and coverage on Fox.
