Casey Pachall suspension: TCU's Gary Patterson meets to discuss

TCU Horned Frogs head coach Gary Patterson met with TCU's chancellor and athletic director on Sunday to discuss suspended quarterback Casey Pachall.

Pachall was suspended last week from the team indefinitely, following his arrest on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

Patterson's Horned Frogs saw their FBS-best 12-game winning streak come to an end on Saturday, when TCU lost to Iowa State, 37-23. The loss was TCU's first game without the suspended Pachall. Redshirt Trevone Boykin started in place of Pachall, and completed 23-of-40 passes for 270 yards while throwing one touchdown pass against three interceptions.

By contrast, Pachall has thrown 10 touchdowns on the year against just one interception.

TCU's loss dropped the Horned Frogs out of the AP Top 25 poll.

Patterson was asked on Sunday if there was a change in Pachall's status with the team, but the head coach simply replied, "not at this point."

TCU will look to get its season back on track on Saturday, when the Horned Frogs head to Waco to take on the Baylor Bears -- with or without Pachall.
