Despite a 48-45 loss to the West Virginia Mountaineers on Saturday, the Texas Longhorns dropped just four spots in this week's AP Top 25 poll, coming in at No. 15. The Texas A&M Aggies, 30-27 winners over Ole Miss, have jumped back into the AP poll this week at No. 22.

The TCU Horned Frogs lost 37-23 to the Iowa State Cyclones and fell out of the Top 25 into the "Others Receiving Votes" category, where the idle Baylor Bears also reside this week, garnering 62 votes.

The Alabama Crimson Tide continue their stranglehold on the top spot in this week's poll, grabbing all 60 first-place votes. The Oregon Ducks held steady at the No. 2 position, but a rash of upsets on Saturday shuffled the rest of the top five.

The No. 3 LSU Tigers, No. 4 Florida State Seminoles and No. 5 Georgia Bulldogs all lost on Saturday, allowing South Carolina, Florida and West Virginia to climb into slots 3-5. Florida State is now ranked No. 12, LSU is No.9 and Georgia is No. 14 after their defeats.
