The Dallas Cowboys are still battling a host of injuries at practice this week as they prepare to face the New York Giants at home on Sunday. The bad news keeps on mounting after linebacker Sean Lee was diagnosed with a season ending big toe injury. Linebacker DeMarcus Ware missed practice again on Thursday as he deals with a chest cold. Ware should be able to practice Friday. Meanwhile, starting running back DeMarco Murray missed practice on Thursday and will likely sit out Week 8 as he deals with a sprained foot. Center Phil Costa (ankle), defensive end Sean Lissemore (ankle) and safety Matt Johnson (hamstring) also sat out of practice Thursday after all three missed Wednesday's practice.
One piece of good news for Cowboys fans, albeit a small one: Murray's backup, Felix Jones, was limited in practice on Thursday after sitting out Wednesday with a knee injury. Jones is slated to start against the Giants.
Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw missed Thursday's practice with a nagging foot issue. He hopes to get one day of practice in before traveling to Dallas but, whether or not he'll play is still up in the air.
