College football schedule, week 8: TCU battles for second place

The 6-0 Kansas State Wildcats lead the Big 12, but two Top 25 teams from Texas will battle for second place in the conference when Texas Tech visits TCU. Both squads have posted a 2-1 record in the conference play and the winner will keep pace with the undefeated Wildcats.

Elsewhere in the Lone Star State, the Texas Longhorns look to overcome their 63-21 drubbing at the hands of rival Oklahoma by hosting the Baylor Bears. Texas needs a solid performance and a victory to stay relevant in the Big 12 title picture.

The conference-leading Wildcats will try to keep their distance from the pack when they visit an explosive West Virginia squad that struggles on defense.
