TCU leads the Baylor Bears 28-21 at the end of three quarters at Floyd Casey Stadium in Waco, Texas.
Trevone Boykin, whose mistakes helped doom the Horned Frogs last week against Iowa State, led two lengthy touchdown drives in the third quarter to help TCU start to pull away from Baylor. Boykin's 43-yard touchdown pass to LaDarius Brown to start the half gave TCU a 21-7 lead, with Nick Florence capping a 75-yard drive for Baylor with a 5-yard run to pull the Bears back within seven.
The Hornded Frogs would take a 14-point lead once more when TCU back Josh Boyce rushed for a 2-yard score late in the quarter. Baylor would immediately answer with a 77-yard touchdown pass to Terrance Williams from Nick Florence on the first play of the drive.
For the game, Boykin is 21-of-29 for 246 yards and three touchdowns, rushing for 40 more yards on 12 carries. Receiver Cam White is leading TCU with 65 yards receiving on five catches.
Baylor quarterback Nick Florence in 11-of-16 for 288 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions, with Terrance Williams leading the Bears with 163 yards receiving on just three catches.
