The Texas Longhorns and Oklahoma Sooners are both looking to get back in the top 10, and they'll try to accomplish that goal against each other Saturday when they meet in the latest installment of the Red River Rivalry. The game will be televised by ABC.
It's a rare meeting between the two when first place in the Big 12 isn't directly on the line. It'll be the second loss of the season for one team, while the other will keep pace in the conference with undefeated West Virginia and Kansas State.
Elsewhere, TCU looks to bounce back from its first loss of the season against Baylor and the Bears' top-ranked passing attack, and SMU travels to play winless Tulane.
Here's a look at this week's local slate of college football action. All times are CT:
Saturday, Oct. 13
Texas vs. Oklahoma at the Cotton Bowl, 11 a.m., ABC
SMU at Tulane, noon, CSS
