2012 Cotton Bowl, Kansas State Vs. Arkansas Score: Wildcats Clawing Back Into Game, Trail 19-9 At The Half

The Kansas St. Wildcats have scored the last nine points in this game to cut into the Arkansas Razorbacks lead and trail 19-9. Arkansas has been held to two field goals by the Kansas State defense to keep them in this game, but Arkansas has scored two touchdowns. The first was a 51-yard punt return by Joe Adams and the other was a 45-yard touchdown pass from Travis Wilson to Jarius Wright.

On the extra-point kick, Kansas State got on the board when Nigel Malone blocked and returned that extra-point to give Kansas State their first two points on the night. Then Kansas State was able to sack Wilson and forced a fumble to get the ball at the Arkansas 13-yard line.

Then it was Kansas State quarterback Collin Klein who was able to get Kansas State their first touchdown of the night when he found a wide open Andre McDonald from four yards out to cut into the Arkansas lead.

Kansas State receives the ball to start the third quarter and with the momentum they have gained from their last nine points they need to take advantage of that and attempt to cut into Arkansas' lead on their first possession.
