Jason Kidd Injury: Dallas Point Guard Doubtful To Return With Lower Back Injury

The Dallas Mavericks got off to a slow start in their match up with the San Antonio Spurs and things could be getting worse after point guard Jason Kidd left the game with a lower back injury. Kidd is doubtful to return to the game.

Kidd handed out three assists in 10 minutes before exiting the game. He is off to a slow start this season averaging 5.6 points, 4.7 assists and 4.0 rebounds per game. Vince Carter subbed in for Kidd with Jason Terry sliding over to the point guard position. Rodrigue Beaubois and Delonte West would also be other options for the Mavericks at point guard if Kidd is unable to return.
