Texas Vs. Iowa State Score: J'Covan Brown Scores 15 But Longhorns Trail 44-34 At Halftime

J'Covan Brown scored 15 points for the Texas Longhorns who trail the Iowa State Cyclones 44-34 at halftime. Both shot the ball extremely well in the first half but the difference came in Iowa State's three point shooting. The Cyclones hit 9-12 from distance while also shooting 65 percent in the first half.

Texas shot 61 percent themselves but are just 1-3 from downtown. J'Covan Brown hit 5-8 shots for 15 points to lead the Longhorns. Sheldon McClellan added eight points while Clint Chapman added seven points and five rebounds.

Chris Babb hit four threes in the first half and leads Iowa State with 14 points. Anthony Booker came off the bench to score 11 points and hit all three of his three point attempts in the first half.
