Depsite shooting over 50% from the field in the first half, the third ranked Baylor Bears trail the visiting Missouri Tigers 39-35 half way through their Big 12 contest.
Freshman sensation Quincy Miller leads the Bears in scoring, with 11 points on 4-6 shooting from the field. PG Pierre Jackson has already eclipsed his season average for assists per game, with six in the first half to go along with seven points.
The Bears haven't had an answer for the Tigers in the rebounding battle, having been out-boarded 19-11 in the first half and only collecting three offensive rebounds. Baylor, who averages nearly seven and a half three point field goals made per game, has connected only once from long-distance through the first twenty minutes of play.
Baylor checks in at 17-1 entering today's action, and suffered their first loss of the season against Kansas on Monday. The 17-game win streak to start the season was a school record.
