Jones III leads Baylor with 10 points but hasn't gotten much help from his supporting cast. The Bears hit just 37 percent of their field goal attempts in the first half and were out rebounded by the Jayhawks 21-13. Quincy Miller added seven first-half points for Baylor.
Tyshawn Taylor finished the half with 14 points and three assists to lead Kansas. Thomas Robinson got the Jayhawks off to a good start with 12 points and five rebounds.
