It's officially football season again, which means it's also unofficially sports gambling season again. Most of the college football world will focus their attention on the LSU Tigers and Oregon Ducks tonight as the two top five teams clash in Cowboys Stadium. As expected after the suspension of Jordan Jefferson, the Ducks are favored.
Oregon is either a 3 or 3.5 point favorite over LSU on Saturday night. 5Dimes and SBG Global have Oregon as a 3 point favorite while BoDog has the defending Pac-12 (how weird does that sound?) champions as 3.5 point favorites.
As for the over/under, BoDog has it set at 54 while 5Dimes and SBG Global have it a 54.5.
With LSU's starting quarterback suspended indefinitely and both Darron Thomas and LaMichael James returning for Oregon in their high powered offense, there's almost no way I'd bet on LSU tonight to win outright or cover.
Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. CDT with televised coverage being found nationally on ABC.
