It's The One-Year Rangers Bankruptcy Auction Anniversary

It's amazing that it's been a full year since the surreal night in Ft. Worth where Jim Crane and Mark Cuban squared off against Nolan Ryan, Chuck Greenberg and their money men in a bidding war that lasted into the night. The Rangers went on to win their first playoff series and play in their first World Series, Greenberg was shockingly ousted during spring training, and after another eventful season Jon Daniels and the club find themselves up one game in the West and looking for a second consecutive postseason.

ESPN Dallas has linked Jim Reeves' conclusion post, focusing on Ryan's day here, and you can look at our blow-by-blow here. What a day that was.
