Mack Brown's rebuilding process seems to be taking some shape, as reactions from his Longhorns' second scrimmage work their way out. TexasSports.com also has a short video from the private scrimmage with Mack Brown's comments.

Joe Bergeron and Malcolm Brown both appear ready to make an impact and to join Fozzy Whittaker as the load bearers. Trey Allen, David Snow, David Espinosa, Mason Walters and Trey Hopkins (that would be Sr, Sr, Fr, So, So) seem to have separated themselves as starters.

The QB situation has not been sorted, after David Ash seemed to have the momentum over the past week or so. Garrett Gilbert reportedly had a strong scrimmage, while Ash appeared to be relegated to mop-up duty.

Mack Brown said that there will be a third scrimmage on Thursday, and that the team will then enter their game week preparations for Texas' opener versus Rice in Austin on September 3.
