The answer to the question ‘who from the bullpen will go out when the staff drops to 12?’ is Darren O’Day. He’s been sent back down so that Craig Gentry can be added and the center field platoon can basically be reinstated.
O’Day can return to the roster on September 1 if he isn’t needed sooner.
