NCAA Baseball Regionals: TCU Vs. Dallas Baptist

The TCU Horned Frogs won on Friday, the opening day of the NCAA Baseball Regional Tournaments, in convincing fashion as they blasted Oral Roberts 10-2. Now on Saturday, the Horned Frogs look to move one win closer to returning to Omaha for the College World Series as they take on Dallas Baptist.

Dallas Baptist defeated Oklahoma on Friday, in something of a mild upset. Dallas Baptist is the three seed in the Fort Worth regional and the Sooners are the No. 2. It took Dallas Baptist 10 innings to upset the Sooners, and it was thanks in large part to a strong pitching performance from starting pitcher Brandon Williamson, who pitched nine innings while giving up just two runs en route to the win.

The Horned Frogs, meanwhile, cruised to a victory over Oral Roberts. According to Mountain West Connection, SB Nation's blog for all things Mountain West Conference, the Horned Frogs will be sending former Texas Rangers first round pick Matt Purke to the mound on Saturday. Purke will be opposed by Jared Stafford of Dallas Baptist.

First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m. CDT. The game can be watched online at ESPN3.com.
