Rangers Vs. Indians: Dave Bush Makes Spot Start In Cleveland

The Texas Rangers are headed out on the road to take on the American League's best team - the Cleveland Indians

Dave Bush will make a spot start today in place of Matt Harrison. Harrison has a blister on his index finger, preventing him from making the start. Bush takes into the game a 4.43 ERA and 1.38 WHIP in 20.1 innings of work on the season. Bush has struck out only 11 hitters and walked seven as well in nine appearances, including two starts.

Bush will be opposed by Carlos Carrasco for the Indians. Carrasco has a 4-2 record on the year - but his record may be a bit misleading. Carrasco's ERA is near five, sitting at 4.91, with a 1.40 WHIP. Carrasco has struck out 32 in 51.1 innings of work, and has issued 16 walks - so expect lots of balls in play tonight for the Rangers in Cleveland.

First pitch is scheduled for 6:05 p.m. CDT.
