Texas Baseball: Taylor Jungmann Wins Again As Texas Takes 2 Of 3 From Nebraska

Taylor Jungmann wasn't as dominant as he had been the past two weeks, but he pitched another eight strong innings and won again, leading off the Longhorn's series win over Nebraska in Lincoln. Jungmann allowed one earned run and struck out eight but did walk five. Cole Green matched him with eight strong innings as Texas blew out Nebraska Saturday 16-5, but the Huskers came back to win the finale Sunday.

Texas A&M took two of three from Dallas Baptist and hung onto first place over Texas by a half game. The Aggies will move on to face Nebraska next weekend, while Texas will play a pair against Texas Southern Saturday. The two will meet May 19-21 to determine the regular season Big 12 champs.

With the series win, Texas moved up a spot to No. 5 in Baseball America's rankings. The Aggies fell two to No. 11, one back of TCU. Texas State stayed in the poll at No. 25.
