NFL Draft: Mike Mayock Final Mock, Cowboys Taking Tyron Smith

Mike Mayock has his final mock draft up and it looks like there is a consensus on who the Cowboys are going to take with their ninth pick tonight.

Tyron Smith.

I think the Cowboys would like to trade down here, but this kid is talented. Dallas can plug him in at right tackle, and he upgrades the youth and athleticism of the offensive line.

Jerry loves to trade down, and it would not shock me if they trade down and select Wisconsin DE JJ Watt or take Wisconsin OL Gabe Carimi. But it seems like Smith is the pick if they decide to stay at number nine.

Mayock believes four quarterbacks get drafted in the first round. Cam Newton, Blaine Gabbert, Jake Locker and Andy Dalton. Nebraska cornerback Prince Amukamara goes to the Redskins at ten. Daquan Bowers slides all the way to number 20 and goes to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. And Mayock believes this draft has the potential to see the most trades in NFL history.

The draft begins at 7:00 p.m.
